Osiris Glade :: Montezuma

I must say that I have been waiting for just the right time to post this, but the reasons why are lost in the nebula of my thoughts. Perhaps I was being selfish. Perhaps I was just lost, lost in the overgrown jungle “Montezuma” led me through, unable to move with my legs sucked into the water-soaked floor. But perhaps I never wanted to leave that place. My legs were trapped, but not by the ground. It was way the rain showers felt as they broke through the canopy, renewing it all. I couldn’t take my eyes away from the beauty of growth as colors and sounds rushed back into the forest. I always watched it happen from a secluded glade, lying on a mossy bed far from everything. I never wanted to leave, but I knew that must, that I couldn’t keep it to myself.

But even when I finally found the way out, how could I explain what I had seen? For anyone to understand, they would have to see it. They would have to go there. But if they cannot see it, if they cannot go, let them at the very least hear what I heard and then, perhaps see what left me wandering.
