Cedar Senior :: Endless Body (Fright Waves)
From the “Salmon Capital of the World” comes a collection of undeniably smooth, loop-heavy electro-gems in the form of the five-song Campsite EP by Cedar Senior. While the salmon population may have significantly decreased up in Port Alberni, there’s still something in those waters making crazy things happen. As Ben Wagner (Hooray/Craig Cruiser) points out, Cedar Senior’s sound definitely swims in the same stream as Clive Tanaka and Brothertiger, with super synthed-out vocals among layers of bubbling effects and thumping basslines.
