Memoryhouse :: Heirloom | Video created by Jamie Harley
Co-Premiere | Soars :: Throw Yourself Apart (video)
In his latest video for Soars’ “Throw Yourself Apart,” Jamie Harley uses clips from 1960’s Japanese horror film Jigoku to plunge us into fiery bloodbath scored by the band’s thick, chambered sound. Besides creating some of this year’s best video collages, he also acts as the curator of the Paris/London-based Schmooze Blog.
Soars, based out of Lehigh, Pennsylvania, released their debut full-length just two weeks ago on La Société Expéditionnaire, which you can order here. Plus, download ”Throw Yourself Apart” below and find more info on the video over at Altered Zones.
How to Dress Well :: Ready for the World
Today, Jamie Harley, curator of Schmooze Blog, premiered yet another wonderfully blurry video for How to Dress Well’s “Ready for the World” on XLR8R. This is his third video for HTDW, the first two being “Decisions” and “Lover’s Start.”
How to Dress Well’s debut full-length, Love Remains, is due out 21 September on Lefse Records.
