In “Cait Sith,” the second cut from his upcoming Kodama EP, Jaded Hipster Choir frontman Thomas Michael has weaved an intricate orchestral web that dangles between organic and synthetic, creating a piece that although created electronically, could fill an empty theater. Gorgeous looping. It’s got Owen Pallett written all over it.

Teen Daze ∆ Gone For The Summer (Part Two)

“Gone for the Summer (Part Two)” is a brand new track from Teen Daze and the title just encompasses it all. I don’t see how they have to ability to create such an excellent song in just seven hours. I’m pretty sure that’s how long it took according to this tweet made seven hours ago on their twitter, “my roommates are all gone for the day/no show tonight = mellow afternoon. i think i’ll work on a new track.” Be sure to pick up their upcoming Four More Years EP digitally or on vinyl from Arcade Sound Ltd. or on cassette from Wonder Beard Tapes.
