Last night, Jamie Smith of The xx premiered the first single from his currently-untitled project on X-Posure with John Kennedy. The steel-drum heavy single, “Far Nearer,” is due out on Numbers in the coming months. (Click 45 seconds in to skip the interview).
Oliver Sim’s (of The xx) wild cymbal part, live at Terminal 5. I’ve been waiting for a higher quality video of this since seeing them in Atlanta back in March. It blew my mind.
