Washed Out ∆ New Theory
Unofficial fan video for Life of Leisure show-stealer, “New Theory.”
It's Kate's Birthday.
I’ve got a really good friend and her name is Kate. Today is her birthday and we both love Washed Out, so I can’t think of a more appropriate song. She recently started a blog, kaitlinsmith.tumblr.com, where she’s planning on putting up the pictures she takes during her travels this summer. She’s only got one photo up now, but it’s of one of the neatest damn buildings I’ve ever seen. Anyone who follows me, it would mean a lot if you would do the same for her because I’m really excited about this blog and I think it will be worth your while. Plus, it’s her birthday! Happy birthday, Kate. xx, cam.

Lee Weather ∆ I Saw Eternity the Other Night

Lee Weather is the second project of one of my favorite people currently making music, Ernest Greene of Washed Out. “I Saw Eternity the Other Night” is different than Ernest’s washed out, hazed out, synthed out sound that we’ve become accustomed to lately in that it has scratchy guitars reminiscent of Weed Diamond (IMHO) and more linear vocals, that is, less looped and layered than his stuff as Washed Out and Chaz Bundick’s work as Toro y Moi.
